This is a re-post of a previous Audition call from a Student at the Art Institute, however more information has been added.

Actors Wanted – Tucson

 

PRODUCTION:  “Wake Up” (working title)– A Student Short.

PRODUCED BY:  Louis Pereira

 

AUDITION INFORMATION:

Saturday July 9th:  From 9:00am to Noon at The Art Institute:  5099 E. Grant (Intersection of Grant and Rosemont).  Sides will be provided at the audition; however monologues are welcome as well.

 

SYNOPSIS: 

             Wake Up is a Romantic Comedy that is about Matt,  a guy that knows how to handle women, but when his best friend from childhood, who also happens to be the one that got away, show up for a mutual friends wedding, will he be able to be true to himself and his heart?

 

SHOOT SCHEDULE:

The entire shoot is 12 days long. Not all actors are required for all days. We will be shooting from July 23 – August 27.  Scheduling can be arranged according to the actors’ availability.

 

TALENT NEEDED

Women - mid 20's:  2 women needed. One (Gentry) is a main character. The lead female part. She is the romantic interest of the main character and the reason for his actions. They grew up together until she had to move. He is heartbroken and pining for her the rest of his life. The second role (Olivia) is a supporting role but very important. She is the best friend of both the main characters. She will be getting married. The wedding is the reason for the reunion of our two main characters.

Teenagers - 14-15:  Both boys and girls:  4 roles total. These are to play the younger version of the 4 other characters. We are looking for freshman in high school, or someone that can look that age. These roles only require 2 days of shooting. Scheduling can be arranged according to the actors availability.

 

COMPENSATION:

            This is a Student film and we cannot offer monetary compensation.  However, we will have food on set and you will receive credit and a copy of the film.
