Supernumeraries

Arizona Opera is looking for men to be supernumeraries in AIDA. No previous performing experience necessary. You would take the role of a soldier or guard in the Triumphal Procession as well as other scenes. Please note that this is a different opportunity from the one presented to ticket holders who wish to upgrade to onstage “Pharaoh Seating”. As a supernumerary you would be asked to rehearse your role together with the soloists and chorus, and you would appear in all of the performances of AIDA. Additionally, we have openings for a few supernumeraries in the other productions of the 2011-12 season. If you are interested in more information about what it means to be a supernumerary, please contact Keri Muir at (602) 819-9291 or keri@azopera.com
