Subject: Boys and Men's International Choral Festival Concert
The third International Boys and Men’s Choral Festival will take place in Flagstaff and Tucson, Arizona from July 25 through August 1, 2011.
Boys and men’s choirs as well as individual male singers from around the world will attend the eight day festival that will be highlighted by public performances in Flagstaff and Tucson.
World renowned guest conductors David Hill and Julian Ackerley selected festival repertoire to showcase the various styles of participating choirs. These festival programs will feature treble choir music, male choir music, and a grand finale of combined choirs. Selections include Felix Mendelssohn Laudate Pueri Dominum, Giulio Caccini Ave Maria, Paul Radin Walk In Jerusalem, Eric Whitacre The Seal Lullaby and Rejoice and Sing! by Rollo Dilworth.
TUCSON PERFORMANCE: Sunday, July 31st, 3pm at Crowder Hall, University of Arizona
