A Global Service & Music Education Organization Visits Tucson
2nd Saturdays Downtownis excited to announce its partnership with the international organization Up with People and their Tucson visit!
Up with People is a non-profit global education organization focused on bringing the world together through service and music. The current cast is made up of 100 young people from 19 different countries who range in age from 17-29 years old. They arrived in Tucson on November 7th for a one-week stay to take part in a variety of community service projects in the downtown area, get to know all of you and the great Southwestern culture!
There are a couple of ways that you, your family or business can get involved:
See the Up with People Show: ‘A Song for the World’ (songs and dances from Asia, Africa, Mexico, Europe and the US) @ Fox Tucson Theatre, Saturday, November 12 at 7pm
The show is Presented by 2nd Saturdays Downtown and proceeds benefit Fox Tucson Theatre Foundation. Tickets on sale Now at: www.upwithpeople.org/Tucson
