Jerome Kilty's Dear Liar chronicles the affair between Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw and British actress Mrs. Patrick Campbell over the course of 40 years.  The play is based on correspondence between the two, which, as far as anyone knows, is as far as the relationship ever went.
