UA Presents Children's Festival and A Year with Frog and Toad

Date: Sunday, January 24, 2010

Time: 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Location: Centennial Hall Courtyard @ 1020 E. University Boulevard

 

Seeking volunteer artists for the UApresents Children's Festival on Sunday, January 24, 2010.

We are looking for artists to perform, create interactive exhibits or activities, or travel around the festival interacting with children and families. The festival will take place prior to the UApresents performance of A Year with Frog and Toad, a Theatre for Young audiences show. Artists interested in bringing any type of performance, display, or activity suitable for families and youth 2-12 to the Children's Festival are welcome to apply.

 Actors

 

 Performance artists

 

 Visual Artists

 

 Costumed characters

 

 Jugglers

 

 Face painters

 

 Balloon artists

 

 Storytellers

 

There is no pay available, but you may receive a pair of complimentary tickets to the performance following the festival, A Year with Frog and Toad, or another performance in the UApresents season. Some limitations apply. You may also hand out information about your art or organization during the festival. Over 1,500 children and their families attend this event, so it is a great opportunity to reach out to the Tucson community. All volunteers and artists are asked to arrive at 12:45 pm to set up.
