E + A Productions will hold auditions for their upcoming production of  Make Me a Song-The Music of William Finn on Saturday, February 6th from 3-6pm at the Cabaret at the Temple of Music and Art, 330 S. Scott Avenue.

 

We are seeking 4 strong actor/singers. Please prepare two contrasting pieces, either two contrasting songs or a contrasting song and monologue.

Make Me A Song: The Music Of William Finn is a tribute in the form of a revue, showcasing more than twenty songs from the repertoire of writer and composer William Finn. Finn is best known as the composer of the acclaimed Falsettos (for which he received two Tony Awards - Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score) and the Tony-winning Broadway smash The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. This compilation of Finn's finest, selected by Rob Ruggiero, includes selected Finn masterpieces from a career spanning more than 25 years of distinctive, often hilarious and emotional songs from the creator of In Trousers, March of the Falsettos and Falsettoland (Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical, two Los Angeles Drama Critic's Awards, two Drama Desk Awards, the Lucille Lortel Award, and Guggenheim Fellowship in Musical Composition).
