The February IFASA meeting is Monday, 1 February, at 6:00 PM at the Main Library, Catalina Meeting Room (2nd floor and go left), 101 N. Stone.  Parking in the underground garage is free after 5:00 PM..  Our speaker will be Taylor Davidson, who will speak on film insurance, payroll, and financial services.  It will be a very interesting and informative meeting.  Everyone is welcome.

 

Taylor Davidson is a licensed broker and manager with The Ruboyianes (“Ruby-ahness”) Company here in Tucson.  He has over 13 years total in financial services.  The first 8 years in branch and business banking with Wells Fargo and BBVA Compass and the last 5 years managing the property and casualty insurance division of The Ruboyianes Company and a number of niche industry programs particularly the Entertainment Division covering all areas of film, special event and television production.  He is currently a member of IFASA and the APA, and the 2010 president of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Tucson.  Taylor and The Ruboyianes Company have experience covering all levels of entertainment insurance and financial services from small independent “guerilla” filmmaking all the way up to multi-million dollar studio productions.  The Tucson Film Office has recognized Taylor as the only Southern Arizona broker specializing in film and production coverages and The Ruboyianes Company under his management has provided insurance services to directors and producers, not only locally in Tucson and Arizona, but also nationally and internationally, from California to New York, Indonesia to France.
