Subject: Actor Casting Call

Hello,

Our names are Nicholas Going and Brody Anderson.  We are film students at the University of Arizona and are currently preparing to shoot a short film. Our script focuses around a single individual and we are hoping to find an experienced actor for the lead role.

Our project follows a captain as he grieves with the loss of his crew. Ultimately it is revealed that the same captain was responsible for leaving his crew behind while he made his premature escape. The film occurs in one location, the cockpit of an escape pod, and could offer an interesting acting challenge. The role requires a diverse range of emotion and can be played by either a male or female. We strongly would like to encourage any actor to audition. However, we are looking for an actor who appears to be between the ages of 30 to 45.

The film will be shot over the course of two days in a climate controlled soundstage on the U of A campus. Travel expenses and meals will be provided; pay is negotiable.

If interested in auditioning, please contact Nicholas Going at either 520-609-9481 or by email at

nickg@email.arizona.edu

or Brody Anderson at

andersob@email.arizona.edu

Thank you very much. We appreciate your interest in our project and hope to hear from you soon.
