SYNOPSIS:

 

On a typical suburban evening, in a typical suburban home, The Smiths have planned a dinner party and await their friends, The Martins. Once they arrive, the couples share an evening of humorous stories about animals, poetry concerned with fire, and polite conversation about Rudyard Kipling. Things are not what they seem. Come see this first and most significant work by Absurdist playwright Eugéne Ionesco.
