Tucson, Arizona – Pima Community College Chorale & College Singers, under the direction of Benjamin Sorenson, presents the third concert of the 2010-2011 season. The concert features the works of great composers. Program selections include the Chorale singing “Cantique de Jean Racine” by Gabriel Faure , and “A Jubilant Song” by Norman Dello Joio. The College Singers perform the grandiose “Te Deum” by Joseph Hadyn.
 
Sorenson has been directing the Chorale & College Singers since 1978. He has performed with the Arizona Opera Company and has prepared choruses professionally for the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and the Arizona Opera Company.  
 
The PCC Chorale & College Singers concert is open to the public. Tickets are available at the Center for the Arts box office, located on West Campus at 2202 West Anklam Road, Tucson, (just west of downtown and I-10 on St. Mary’s Road which turns into Anklam Road). Box office hours are Tuesday-Friday, noon-5 p.m. and one hour prior to performance.
