ABOUT THE PROJECT

SoAZFilm, with the support of the Naco Heritage Alliance, is producing “En Passant,” a short film set at Camp Naco — the historic home of the famed Buffalo Soldiers. This student production is part of the Southern Arizona Student Academia and features collaboration among student filmmakers from Southern Arizona and Northern Sonora.

 

CASTING THE FOLLOWING ROLES

COLONEL

Colonel — 10th Cavalry Regiment Male · Caucasian · Age range: 50s–60s

 

SGT. MATTHEWS

Sergeant Matthews — 24th Infantry Regiment Male · African American · Age range: 40s–50s

 

PVT. HAWKINS

Private Hawkins — 10th Cavalry Regiment Male · Caucasian · Age range: 20s–30s

LOCATION

Camp Naco, Naco / Bisbee, Arizona

 

COMPENSATION

$250 stipend for both shooting days (paid roles)

 

PROVIDED

Food and costumes provided for all cast

 

BACKGROUND

Unpaid background extras also needed — credit provided
