About the Show

It's 1981 in America, and Trevor Nelson is busy navigating adolescence in suburbia while dreaming of a life in show business. When an embarrassing incident at school suddenly puts him in the wrong spotlight, Trevor must summon the courage to forge his own path. A deeply moving and funny story of self-discovery and the power of acceptance — Trevor is about living your best life with a ton of passion… and a touch of pizzazz.

Artist Biographies

Eli Sallard  —  Trevor

Eli Sallard is an eighteen-year-old graduate from Empire High School pursuing the performing arts at Pima Community College. Nominated for the 2025 Monte Awards while portraying Percy Jackson, they have also appeared as The Wolf (Into the Woods), Anna of Cleves (Six: Teen Edition), and Rupert Van Brunt (Sleepy Hollow).

 

Kellen Tanner  —  Walter

Kellen Tanner (he/him) is ecstatic to return to LTW for his second musical experience. His favorite LTW credit is Ranked (Ryan). He found LTW in elementary school and has been delighting in its supportive community of theatre teens ever since.

 

Jack Bersbach  —  Pinky

Jack Bersbach is a proud member of Empire High School's Troupe 7057 and Raven Rhapsody, heading into his senior year. Past credits include Jack (Into the Woods), Orpheus (Hadestown), Beetlejuice (Beetlejuice Jr.), and Mush (Newsies).

 

Jadyn Gillette  —  Cathy

Jadyn Gillette is an upcoming senior and Thespian Troupe President at Empire High School. Favorite credits include Little Red Riding Hood (Into the Woods), Katherine Howard (Six: Teen Edition), and Annabeth Chase (The Lightning Thief).

 

Sydney Johnson  —  Frannie

Sydney Johnson (she/her) has appeared as Cinderella (Into the Woods), Clarisse (The Lightning Thief), and Catherine of Aragon (Six: Teen Edition). She has also performed with Young Playwrights of Tucson for the past two years.

 

Ivy Buffalo  —  Mary

Ivy Buffalo (she/they) is a rising senior at Catalina Foothills High School. Favorite roles include Constance Blackwood (Ride the Cyclone), Eurydice (Hadestown), and Jordan Carter (Ranked: A Musical).

 

Cooper Stacy  —  Jason / U/S Trevor

Cooper Stacy is a 15-year-old performer with five years of acting, singing, and musicianship — recently adding dance and directing to his repertoire. He made his student-directing debut with Romeo and Juliet in 10 Minutes at the Desert Crown Theater Company and aspires to a career on Broadway.

 

Edan Cabrera  —  Diana Ross

Edan Cabrera is a senior in advanced drama at Empire High School. Favorite roles include the Baker's Wife Understudy (Into the Woods) and various characters in Quest.

 

Danna Maldonado-Munoz  —  Mom

Danna Maldonado-Munoz (she/her) is thrilled to make her LTW debut. Past credits include Mean Girls (Janis), Beauty and the Beast Jr. (Ensemble), and Nemo Jr. (Peach the Starfish).

 

Greyson Pfannenstiel  —  Trevor's Dad

Greyson Pfannenstiel is a four-year LTW veteran now enrolled at Northern Arizona University. Favorite LTW credits include Viv in Ranked: A Musical, King Arthur in Spamalot, and Pugsley in The Addams Family.

 

Nicholas Waszkiewicz  —  Jack

Nicholas Waszkiewicz is an 11th grader at Canyon del Oro High School. Previous roles include Minstrel (Once Upon a Mattress) and Toby (Sweeney Todd). He is grateful for the support of family, friends, and directors.

 

Tenley Williams  —  Mrs. Kerr

Tenley Williams (they/them) is eighteen and attends Canyon del Oro High School. Favorite roles include Hannah (Puffs), the Cook/Singing Telegram Girl (Clue: On Stage) with Canyon Players, and Mr. Bumble (Oliver!) with CYT Tucson.

 

Braeley McIntire  —  Coach Gregory

Braeley McIntire (they/she) is a rising senior at Empire High School. Favorite credits include Anna of Cleves (Queens), Pinocchio (Shrek Jr.), and Granny (Into the Woods).

 

Max Landon  —  Father Joe / Mike / U/S Jason

Max Landon is a rising junior at the Gregory School appearing in his second LTW production. Favorite past roles include Nick Bottom (Something Rotten! Jr.) and Jonathan Harker (Dracula). He also dabbles in sound design.

 

Anita Osakwe-Anderson  —  Todd

Anita Osakwe-Anderson is honored to play Todd. She fell in love with acting her sophomore year and has appeared in Page to Stage, Quest, and Empire High's production of Into the Woods.

 

August Overstreet  —  Luke / U/S Walter

August Overstreet is a sophomore at Empire High School making his community theatre debut. Previous school credits include Wonka (Willy Wonka Jr.) and Shakespeare (Romeo and Juliet), alongside extensive tech experience.

 

Violette Burge  —  Lindsay / U/S Mary

Violette Burge, 15, is a rising sophomore at Salpointe Catholic High School and founder of Citrus Ink Creative. Recent credits include Bright Star and Peter and the Starcatcher (Salpointe) and The Little Mermaid (CYT Tucson). She is also writing and directing the student film QM14.

 

Harmony Garner  —  Mandi

Harmony Garner is entering her 10th school year and has been pursuing theatre for nearly four years. Favorite roles include Cronan (Cronan: The Barbarian), Carly (Ranked), and Opera House Manager (Phantom of the Opera).

 

Katie Howell  —  Becky / U/S Frannie

Katie Howell is a junior in advanced drama at Empire High School. Favorite credits include Rapunzel (Into the Woods) and roles in Page to Stage Vol. 15 and The Lightning Thief Musical.

 

Harlow Geddings  —  Ensemble

Harlow Geddings is a senior at Empire High School. Favorite past roles include Stapleton in Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery and Marty in The First Lemonade.

 

Kyle Lukas  —  Ensemble / U/S Cathy

Kyle Lukas is heading into her freshman year at Tucson High, bringing credits including Delia (Beetlejuice Jr.), Jan (Grease), and Caitlyn (Camp Rock). She thanks her family and friends for their unwavering support.

 

Zane Burge  —  Ensemble

Zane Burge, 12, is a rising seventh grader at Orange Grove Middle School. Recent credits include Flounder (The Little Mermaid, CYT Tucson) and Noah Claypole (Oliver!). Outside theatre, Zane plays trombone, writes, and loves cooking and baseball.
