Debuting This Week
Tucson Improv Movement is premiering two brand-new shows this Saturday night. Improv Party Swap takes eight improvisers, randomly pairs them into four teams, and lets the audience watch the results unfold. Comedy Triathlon combines all three comedy arts in a single show: stand-up, a written sketch, and a full improv set. Both shows are one-night experiments — come see them and help decide whether they return.
New PhD in the Performing Company
Congratulations to company member Gowri Kapali, who successfully defended her dissertation on sensory and motor behavior in echolocating bats, earning a PhD in Neuroscience.
