Marketing Coordinator

Reports To: Director of Marketing (interim: Executive Director)   ·   $18–22/hr   ·   Full-time, Non-Exempt   ·   Tucson (hybrid available)

Position Summary

Provides administrative and operational support for ATC's Marketing department. Coordinates timelines, marketing assets, vendor relationships, campaign execution, and project traffic management. Supports opening night logistics, print orders, email production, website updates, and social media scheduling. Ideal for an organized professional excited to grow in a collaborative arts marketing environment.

Key Qualifications

      1–3 years administrative, marketing, or project coordination experience — or strong organizational skills with interest in arts/marketing

      Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects

      Strong written and verbal communication skills

      Proficiency in Microsoft Office; project management or CRM experience a plus (training provided)

      Evenings/weekends several times per month for opening nights and events

      Hybrid work environment; details shared during hiring process

Patron Services Associate

Reports To: Director of Patron Services   ·   $16.00/hr   ·   Full-time, 40 hrs/week   ·   Tucson — Temple of Music & Art (in-person, some remote)

Position Summary

Works as part of ATC's box office team serving patrons at the Temple of Music & Art. Manages inbound calls, online requests, and emails; assists patrons in-person, by phone, and via email; processes season and single ticket orders, ticket exchanges, and other requests. Standard hours Mon–Fri 9 AM–5 PM; hours vary in-show to include evenings and weekends.

Key Qualifications

      Outstanding customer service skills — personable, flexible, and self-reliant

      Detail-oriented with strong computer skills; ability to work across CRM, Outlook, and MS Office simultaneously

      Strong typing skills required

      Great telephone etiquette

      Box office or customer service experience a plus; Spektrix or ticketing system experience a plus

      Interest in the arts; knowledge of theatre or performing arts a plus

Scenic Carpenter

Reports To: Technical Director   ·   $17.00/hr   ·   Full-time, Non-Exempt, Seasonal   ·   Tucson based (Tempe/Phoenix residencies required)

Position Summary

Constructs scenic elements as drawn and engineered by the Technical Director. Participates in build, load-in, remount, and strike. Leads teams of Over-hire Stagehands. All productions rehearse and open in Tucson; transfer to Tempe Center for the Arts for Phoenix run.

Key Qualifications

      Experience with theatrical carpentry and welding techniques

      Skilled with range of materials, hand and power tools; ability to read technical drawings

      Knowledge of theatrical rigging and counterweight flying systems

      Basic CNC (ShopBot) knowledge; willing to learn 26' box truck and forklift

      Lift 60 lbs; work at heights (grids, catwalks, genie lifts)

Properties Artisan

Reports To: Properties Director   ·   $17.00/hr   ·   Full-time, Non-Exempt, Seasonal   ·   Tucson based (Tempe/Phoenix residencies required)

Position Summary

Executes creation, procurement, fabrication, repair, and maintenance of all rehearsal and show properties. Fabrication work includes sculpting, casting, graphic design, woodworking, 3D printing, welding, furniture construction, textiles, and upholstery. Must have Driver's License.

Key Qualifications

      Knowledge of prop-making techniques: painting, sculpting, sewing, upholstery, furniture construction, graphic design

      Strong understanding of historical accuracy relating to properties

      MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, and graphic design basics

      Valid Driver's License required

      Lift 50 lbs; work at heights; Tempe/Phoenix residencies required

Staff Electrician

Reports To: Electrics/Projection/Sound Director   ·   $17.00/hr   ·   Full-time, Non-Exempt, Seasonal   ·   Tucson based (Tempe/Phoenix residencies required)

Position Summary

Participates in coordination, execution, and maintenance of all lighting and projection needs across ATC's two-city operation. Serves as lighting console operator or follow spot operator. Leads Overhire Stagehands during work calls.

Key Qualifications

      Knowledge of theatrical electrical, projection, atmospherics, and fundamental rigging

      Basic understanding of Vectorworks, Lightwright, and ETC consoles

      Experience with soldering and crew leadership

      Experience with touring or transferring productions to other venues

      Lift 50 lbs; work at heights; regular nights/weekends; Tempe/Phoenix residencies

First Hand

Reports To: Costume Director   ·   $18.00/hr   ·   Full-time, Non-Exempt, Seasonal   ·   Tucson based

Position Summary

Responsible for cutting fabric from patterns, construction and alteration of built costume pieces, and alterations on pulled, purchased, or rented pieces as designed by the Costume Designer for each ATC production. Supports all aspects of the costume shop across the five-show season.

Key Qualifications

      Demonstrated proficiency in cutting from patterns and garment construction including theatrical techniques

      Working knowledge of flat patterning, draping, and tailoring techniques

      Knowledge of costume history and period shape/construction

      Safe operation of domestic and industrial machines and costume shop equipment

      Neutral/positive language around body types, hair types, skin tones, and genders

      Lift 25 lbs; schedule varies; may include nights and weekends
