Our Game Show and Theme Show!

 

This week is full of fun! On Friday at 7:30 pm, founding house team Not Burnt Out Just Unscrewed brings quick-wit short-form games, followed by the amazing game show Make Me Laugh at 9:00 pm. Then on Saturday, the August theme show RECESS celebrates teachers — who get in FREE with school ID!

Friday: NBOJU & Make Me Laugh

Not Burnt Out Just Unscrewed (7:30 pm, Family-Friendly) opens the night with fast-paced improv games for the whole family.

Then at 9:00 pm, three contestants — the Joculators Maximi — battle it out in spontaneous improv challenges, Honk-Honk head-to-heads, and Wiggle Waggle exploits of intellect, creativity, and ingenuity. Prompted by the Judge's Minion, they'll try to impress The Judge, aka Arbiter Risus, with non-stop laughs and unexpected twists as they compete for the title of Dominus Inparatus. The audience might even win a prize!

Saturday: RECESS!! — August Theme Show

RECESS!! is a teacher-appreciation improv show, and everyone is invited to come celebrate their favorite teacher. Have a wild story (no real names!) to share? Submit it on the Unscrewed Theater website before the night of the show, and watch the cast spin it into improv gold. The show partners with Treasures 4 Teachers of Tucson, and tickets are just $10 to support local teachers — with prizes to be won.
