Subject: Never Say Macbeth

I'm the producer of a feature film, Never Say Macbeth, which is coming out nationwide on DVD on August 26th. In this comedy, a science teacher says "Macbeth" in a theater and unleashes mayhem upon a troupe of actors. It's a cross between Waiting for Guffman and Beetlejuice.

Our leading lady is from Tucson.

We will be holding viewing parties where groups can call us after watching the film and ask the cast and crew questions. At the viewing parties we'll also talk about how they can make their own film and what it's like to be an actor in Los Angeles.

We've been receiving great reviews:

Duane L. Martin of Rogue Cinema calls Never Say Macbeth "awesome, entertaining, funny and brilliant...one of the top two or three indie films I've reviewed in the last three years."

Debbie Lynn Elias of Movie Shark Deblore calls it "a brilliantly funny, entertaining, raucous, laugh-out loud, comedy"

A press kit, trailer and stills can be downloaded at www.neversaymacbeth.com.

Host a Viewing Party

Never Say Macbeth Will Soon be Available on DVD! Buy the DVD and host a Viewing Party!

Hosting a Viewing Party for your theatre company, theatre department, or drama club can be really fun. Not only will you see a great film, but after the movie, you can call the producers, Tammy Caplan and Joe Gold, and ask them questions about the movie, get tips on making your own movie, and find out what it's like to be an actor in Los Angeles.

It’s easy to host a Viewing Party. Here's what you need to do:

Step 1: Buy the DVD. It’s coming soon.

Step 2: Let us know when you're having the party. Email Joe at joetylergold at yahoo.com to RSVP and he'll give you the phone number to call. Tammy and Joe will be available to chat every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night in October, 2008. You can schedule a call at 9pm, 10pm, and 11pm in any U.S. time zone. Other cast and crew may stop by too.

Step 3: Invite your friends. Make it fun! Maybe everyone can be ready with a ghost story or could come dressed as their favorite dead actor.

Step 4: Download the Celebrity Macbeth Game - Coming Soon.

Step 5: Eat some food, watch the movie, and talk to Tammy and Joe.

Step 6: Go to our website, and click on chat to tell us how the party went, and promote your next play. Email us photos, and we'll post them on the website.
