Need Actors and Dancer/Acrobat(some acting) for Performance Piece for Glow Show in September 24,25..
My name is Alison and I have a script I would like to perform at the Glow festival in Oracle at the end of September. Google "glow Tucson". It is a dark comedy. It is 45 minutes long. It involves questioning the Christian church and the experiences of an abused child but it is funny in parts. I need someone to play a very serious and controlling minister. I need a very athletic dancer or acrobat. A young person would be great too. Beginners are welcome. There are several songs in it that I will sing. It is a reworking of moon worship mixed with traditional Christianity.
The glow festival requires you to have some sort of illumination in the performance. So we will probably paint our faces white. Not everyone though. It will be a very short skit and will take very little time. We will probably rehearse for a couple hours maybe 4-5 times before dress rehearsal. Hopefully we would perform both nights. I cannot pay you. I may be able to trade services with you or something of that sort. Thanks. Alison
