Taught by Lisa Sturz, Emmy Award-Winning Artistic Director, Red Herring Puppets
With decades of experience performing puppets on camera and training performers to succeed in recorded media.
PART ONE — Sunday, April 12, 2026 | 1:00–4:00 PM
Participants use a video monitor to practice finding the center of frame, proper lip sync, eye focus, and consistent height. Work with breath, posture, hand movements, and vocal characterization to convey emotion.
PART TWO — Sunday, April 19, 2026 | 1:00–4:00 PM
Refine skills from Part One, add scene work, group improvisations, and choreograph a musical number.
Note: Part One (or equivalent experience) is a prerequisite for Part Two.
