DANCE CLASS with YARROW KING! LIVE DRUMMING by SOL AXE!

HI EVERYONE!

It's been a while! Mail Chimp was holding our emails hostage, and we got our list back in time to invite you to join us for some OG dance class vibes!

TUESDAY, AUG 26th - 7:00PM

Sol Axe will be hosting and playing live for our dear friend and former director (Batucaxe) Yarrow King for a grooving Afro Brazilian Inspired Dance Class at Rhythm Industry Performance Factory (1013 S Tyndall Ave) with guest drumming by Lassina Doumbya!

Class is $15 or pay what you can. You can prepay and sign up with the link below. The link will take you to Yarrow's website.

Sol Axe has been through many changes over the last two years! We said goodbye to three directors, who moved to different states - Terry and Jeff Tauzin and Sarah Emert.

Esteban Sanchez, our dance director has been instrumental in keeping us on our toes by directing the music as well! It's been so much fun drilling technique and switching around on instruments. We have continued to support Yarrow King for Afro Brazilian Inspired Dance class at her studio, INjoy Movement as well as host her at our rehearsal space of over 15 years, Rhythm Industry Performance Factory.

Sol Axe meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7pm! Please feel free to jump in and join us, no experience is needed! We have instruments, and your first visit is free. Those who come regularly as members pay $20-40 sliding scale. These funds pay for our space rental, instruments, and savings towards bringing master teachers. We'll be doing that again after a hiatus, hopefully this fall - but definitely next spring with our mestra Rosangela Silvestre!
