Consolation by Toni Press-Coffman

A special offering from
Winding Road Theater Ensemble

As artists, it is both our passion and our duty to reflect the world around us.

Toni Press-Coffman wrote Consolation in the aftermath of the 2016 election, with an intention for the play to premiere in the weeks prior to the 2020 election.

Winding Road Theater Ensemble is pleased to present a special encore presentation of our production of Consolation, to stream free of charge, this weekend through midnight, November 3rd. Please share this email with anyone you think may enjoy this presentation. Our message is simple: please vote!

This is also an opportunity for those of you who purchased tickets and were unable to see the show for some reason. If you were a ticket holder, please feel free to reply to this email and let us know what you thought of Consolation, or why you were unable to use your ticket. Did you need an email reminder? Is there something we can do to help?

We would like to thank Ms. Press-Coffman and the cast of Consolation for permitting us to stream this topical work. We hope that you will enjoy this conversation between these First Ladies of American History.

If you enjoyed the show, please consider a donation to Winding Road

Tucson Improv Movement Upcoming Shows and Classes

From: Tucson Improv Movement <justin@tucsonimprov.com>
Sent: Thursday, October 29, 2020 7:00 AM
Subject: The Yes And News 10/28/20👻

Tonight we kick off Spooky Season with the Stuck at Home Halloween Show where our comedians bring you the funny in light of the Nightmare on Elm Street happening in the world right now.  Then on Friday we present Ghosts, Ghouls and Guffaws Comedy Show featuring a some short and long form comedy delight!  Improvisers in costume, yes please!

Improv 101 starts on Tuesday, November 10th and will be our first in person comedy class since we shut down the theater in March.  We are working out all of the precautions including limiting the class to six students, everyone wearing masks and observing six feet of social distancing at all times.  Since there is a smaller enrollment for the class, we are already running low on available spaces, so if you are interested in participating, make sure you register today!

Miss seeing shows in our theater, well we miss performing them!  We are working on a reopening plan for the theater, and want to kick it off with offering theater rentals for you and 9 of you best quarantine friends.  Thats right, grab a mask, and laugh the night away for the TIM improvisers.  You can now rent out the theater for a one hour private show for 10 people at the rate $100.  Our lobby will also be open to purchase snacks, drinks, beer and wine.  Looking to celebrate any upcoming events in a fun safe way, book our theater today!

Need a way to spice up your upcoming virtual work party, or end of year event?  Have the TIM performers do a digital edition show just for you.  Let us know what you need by filling out the corporate event form on our website.  You host the event, we bring the laughter!
