SWIPE the Movie Casting Great Actors For Arizona Feature Film

Swipe It! L.L.C. in association with Nomad Film Group & Red Clay Films seeks union and non-union talent for coming of age comedy feature film SWIPE shooting August 29, 2005 - Sept. 19, 2005 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Cast Breakdowns for Swipe

1) Male / 15-17 Years / White
Ferdinand Sullivan: 15-turning-16 year old high school student and genius who asks Katie Gumbles to join him on a date at the Gallery. Curly hair, not too nerdy, not model-quality. Medium tone voice, clear enunciation.

2) Female / 15-17 Years / White
Katie Gumbles: Beautiful brunette, Junior drama student (and starlet) who Ferdinand is crazy about, who hides a scarred past and bipolar, depressive disorders.

3) Male / 41-50 Years / Any Ethnicity
Detective Ronaldo (mystery man): 6 foot, thick mustached (Spanish) Detective who is tracking Ferdinand’s activities. Acts like a disgruntled Peter Sellers (Pink Panther) meets the Italian interrogator from “Mister Ripley”.

4) Female / 18-24 Years / Any Ethnicity
Farrah Frankel: Beautiful, early 20’s blonde, Ice cream server for the Gallery, nymphomaniac. Blonde, big breasts, a little pudgy, but so young she’s hot.

5) Male / 25-30 Years / Any Ethnicity
Jimmy Weathers: Jock dog-walker, who walks “Simon” the dog, past the gallery doors every day. Dumb Good-looking,muscular but not frightening, not ghetto. Very whitebread.

6) Male / Any Years / African American
Alfred, the Guard: Kind and generous, African American security guard who has a love for small animals. Like Forest Whittaker-type.

7) Female / 6-10 Years / Any Ethnicity
Tabitha: 6 yr-old little girl who Katie baby sits, who spots Ferdinand stealing the painting. You decide.

8) Male / 15-17 Years / Mixed Race
Crazy J: A hip student at Ferdinand’s high school, friend of Ferdinand, who rides on rollerblades. Mulatto.

9) Female / Any Years / Any Ethnicity
Ruthie Andreese: Katie’s best (plump) friend. Has to have a laugh like a hyena—im serious!! There is a scene.

10) Male / 15-17 Years / Any Ethnicity
Creed “The Fly” Billings: One of Ferdinand’s best friends, who has an infatuation with “acting like a fly”. Skinny, geeky, but a little crazy.

11) Male / 15-17 Years / Any Ethnicity
Jarrod Tamey: One of Ferdinand’s best friends. Same kind of goofy as above, but different looks.

Olek Henricksen: Nemesis of Ferdinand’s, who throws pomegranate seeds at his white shirt. SUPER GOOD-LOOKING. PRETTY. MODEL. GREAT PROPORTIONS. EURO-BRED LOOKING.
