UA's Arizona Repertory Theatre presents BORN YESTERDAY
by Garson Kanin | directed by Hank Stratton
TUCSON, AZ - A Broadway-triumph-turned-Academy Award-winning film, Born Yesterday is a delectably witty, screwball comedy about a corrupt junk dealer named Harry Brock, who tries to get ahead in Washington, D.C. Hoping to bribe a few senators to help him with a crooked business scheme, Harry decides his dimwitted girlfriend, Billie Dawn, needs some tutoring so he can achieve his goal. Harry hires a newspaper reporter to educate his showgirl mistress, but gets more than he bargained for when he discovers a little bit of learning can be a dangerous thing.
