Eight 10's All Month Long!

9 playwrights, 10 directors, 22 actors, 4 producers and 3 designer/technicians all add up to ONE great evening of theater! Streaming on demand through June 30th!

You've seen playwright and director collaborations for all eight of the Eight 10's plays, but wait! There's more! Presenting our Founder's Choice, selected by Eight 10's Founder Chad Davies from scripts submitted by Pima Community College students:

I See Your Face in Mine by Madison Peden (Tucson, AZ)
Directed by Calla Hay, also a PCC student!

In I See Your Face in Mine, two beings share in the wonders of Earth, as they discover that their shared humanity is, perhaps, super human.

MADISON PEDEN (Playwright) Biography: Madison Peden has been involved in theatre for the last 16 years. She started acting at a young age and studied under Robin Stanton through Solano Youth Theatre in California. She went on to perform with Volcano Theatre Company for 6 years and in 2014 was awarded Best Supporting Actress for her role as Isabel Channing in The House of Frankenstein. While studying at Pima Community College, Madison starred in Mamma Mia, Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Story and Singin' in the Rain. In 2020 she received her AA from PCC for Visual and Performing Arts: Theatre. I See Your Face in Mine is Madison's debut to playwriting, which she hopes will one day be a full length play. Read more about Madison and her involvement with Eight 10's in this feature article printed in this month's Desert Leaf magazine

CALLA HAY (Director) has had a passion for theatre ever since she was a kid. She has worked over the years to learn as much as she can about all aspects of theatre, whether it is directing, performing, or being a part of tech. She is currently attending Pima Community College, majoring in the Theatre Arts. Calla is looking forward to being a part of this show and getting to work with the amazing staff and team.
