Subject: It's springtime at Ballet Tucson! 🌸
We're jumping for joy because our v is almost here! Celebrate the conclusion of our 37th season March 24-26 with a program filled with vibrant variations, featuring five dynamic works that will uplift and delight. Rejoice in the return of legendary choreographer George Balanchine's effervescent Walpurgisnacht Ballet along with company favorites including Associate Artistic Director and Resident Choreographer Chieko Imada's comedic and nostalgic Bossa Nova and the delightfully charming, vivacious Joplin choreographed by one of Ballet Tucson's long-time beloved choreographers, Mark Schneider. Witness the remarkable creative talent of Ballet Tucson Senior Apprentice Brooke Amundrud, winner of our Footprints at the Fox choreographic competition, as she brings her winning work Exile's Jig to the main stage for the first time. Revel in the astounding athleticism of First Light, a premiere by award-winning choreographer Price Suddarth, whose ballet Borderland wowed patrons at our Winter Concert.
