CALL TO ARTISTS!
Esperanza Dance Project, (EDP), is a Tucson-based non-profit organization committed to empowering survivors of childhood sexual trauma by eradicating stigma and secrecy while inspiring hope for healing through our impactful dance performance, discussions, and advocacy. EDP is currently seeking submissions for local artists to exhibit work for a one night only Emerging Choreographers Showcase.
About the event: EDP will host its annual Emerging Choreographers Showcase on Saturday, April 22nd, 2023. This will include the premiere of new works by emerging choreographers and "House of Hope," EDP's classic repertoire.
When: Saturday, April 22, 2023.
Time: 7-9pm
Where: CATALYST Arts Space in the Tucson Mall

Everything you ned to know:
Requirements:
· Artists are required to attend this event.
· Artists are responsible for bringing their work ready to hang and collecting any unsold pieces at the end of the event. EDP does not have space for storage of artwork, therfore, no special arrangements will be made for drop off or pick up at a later date.
· Needed: easels or tables to help showcase the work. Tabletop or freestanding easels needed.
· Artists are required to help spread the word leading up to the event. Artists must follow EDP on instagram (@esperanzadanceaz). Graphics will be provided but sharing on social media is a must! Any promo you want to do leading up to the event we 100% support and would love to collaborate!
Please Note:
· This is an open call! All subject matter and media accepted!
· Make sure your piece is ready to hang, or you provide table top easels or any other ideal viewing props. EDP may be able to assist in providing easels, hanging equipment, etc. Please contact us at esperanzadanceproject@gmail.com to request these items.
· Artists are welcome to offer their work for sale during the event. Artists will be responsible for all monetary transactions surrounding art sales, please come prepared to accept Venmo/Paypal/cash etc. EDP will not be taking any percentage of sales or acting as the conduit for art related sales.
