About Us

Arizona Theatre Company is a LORT B Theatre that operates in two cities: Tucson and Tempe/Phoenix. Each show in our season rehearses and begins performances at the Temple of Music and Art in Tucson (for about 7 weeks) and then transfers to Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe/Phoenix to continue its run (for about 3 weeks). Contracts are generally 10 weeks long. 
We are casting for PRINCIPAL and UNDERSTUDY roles for all show.

Schedules

Please note the following about ATC schedules: 

  • Normal rehearsal schedule is Tuesday to Sunday in the window of 10 AM to 7 PM.   
  • Scrooge! rehearsal schedule is Tuesday to Friday in the window of 1 PM to 10 PM, Saturday and Sunday in the window of 10 AM to 7 PM. 
  • Tech rehearsal days are 10 hours long. 
  • We have matinee performances during the week and on weekends.

Submission Instructions

  • If auditioning for a musical, please prepare one 2-minute monologue and one 16-bar cut. 
  • If auditioning for a play, please prepare two contrasting 2-minute monologues.  
  • Complete presentation should be no longer than 5 minutes in length.  
  • Please fill out the form below that corresponds with the city in which you will be auditioning.
  • If you are not available during our in-person auditions or cannot get an appointment slot, you can submit a video audition by filling out the Video Submission form below by April 30. In the form you will be asked for a link to your video.
  • We are not accepting submissions from youth performers under the age of 18 at this time. We will announce youth performer audition information at a later date.
