Tucson Improv Movement the Summer of Stand Up continues

I am so excited to welcome Sara Alcazar Silva into the role of Artistic Director at Tucson Improv Movement. We have been working without one for a few years, and the time is right to bring someone new onto our Leadership Team. Sara is one of Improv 101 instructor extraordinaires, is an excellent performer, and one of the most supportive people at the theater. She is going to be working on show scheduling and quality control on everything we put out. So excited to see what Sara will do in this role, and to continue our promise to bring the best live and local comedy to Tucson!

We can't wait to see you at a show this weekend! On Friday night the Summer of Stand Up continues with Femme Drop at 9 pm our all female stand up comedy show hosted and curated by Amie Gabusi! Saturday the funniest Happy Hour in Tucson features the duo team Almost Married and Finding the Words. Come out early and get $1 off your drink at our first show. Then at 7:30 pm, The Game Show Show is back with Chloe Carlson and Brian Chavez as they battle it out for fabulous prizes*. Then at 9 pm the Dirty Tees will bring a monsoon of laughter in a short-form comedy show for real Tucsonans!

And get ready to ho ho ho and ha ha ha at our Halfway to the Holidays shows next Saturday, July 27th. Tis the Season to be Silly as all of our shows will bring the holiday spirit, and keep watch for a special ticket deal!

The Soapbox w/Lindsay Lesh
(Re)Telling Tucson's Story
Friday Night at 7:30 pm

Lindsay Lesh is an awesome member of the TIM company and currently performs with the TIM Company Interns (affectionately known as the TIMterns). She has one of the best laughs in the company and lights up every room she enters! Lindsay told us she could tell Soapbox stories for days based on the life she has lived, and we can't wait to hear the stories she will bring on Friday night!

Everyone has a story to tell. Four short and personal stories from our special guest at 7:30 pm will inspire Tucson's premier improv comedy team.
