What is SAGindie?
SAGindie promotes the working relationship between professional actors and passionate independent filmmakers. Since its formation in 1997, SAGindie has been traveling to film festivals, trade shows, and conventions spreading the word: Just because your film isn't produced by a studio doesn't mean you can't use professional talent. As a free resource, SAGindie offers filmmakers clarity and kinship by guiding them through the SAG-AFTRA signatory process, making it even easier to hire professional actors, regardless of budget. SAGindie is made possible by a grant from the SAG-AFTRA Producers Industry Advancement & Cooperative Fund.
Sample Contract Downloads!
SAG-AFTRA low budget agreements were created with input from filmmakers and actors to make it even easier for you to hire professional performers. Want to see a sample of what the agreements look like? Keep in mind, these are just SAMPLES. Your SAG-AFTRA Business Representative will send you your actual contract when it's time to sign.

Code of Conduct
We have been aware of issues on AZ film Sets for several years now and we want you to know that we are listening. The IFA board of directors wants to let you know that we do not take these incidents lightly. If you have been mistreated or witnessed others (adults, children, animals) being mistreated or intentionally endangered on a production set of any size (large budget, small budget, no budget), please consider reporting the incident(s) to the proper authorities. It is only by taking those who violate the trust of our fellow artists to task that these situations can be corrected and recorded so that they might be prevented in the future. We must begin to speak out in order to begin to protect and help each other.
If you have questions or concerns please email IFA: IndependentFilmArizona@gmail.com
