Announcing Auditions!
As Winding Road gears up to return to the stage for our 14th season, we'll be holding open auditions for our two readings: N by Adrienne Earle Pender, and Chill by local playwright Erin Dietsche. Both readings will be held LIVE ON STAGE.
N, by Adrienne Earle Pender. This fascinating exploration of the relationship between acclaimed Black actor Charles S. Gilpin and budding playwright Eugene O'Neill will intrigue and challenge you! N plays October 22-23. Director Dawn McMillan needs:
One Black man 30s-50s
One Black woman 30s-50s
One white man 30s-50s
Winding Road will be returning to its roots with a workshop and reading of a new play by local playwright Erin Dietsche, Chill,.This heartbreaking and heart-stopping account of a fraternity party gone awry will chill your blood! Chill plays January 14th and 15th. We will be workshopping this script in the evenings Monday January 9-Thursday January 12. You must be available January 9th-15th. Director Molly Lyons needs:
Two young men to appear college age
One young woman to appear college age
Auditioners for N will read scenes from sides, which we will provide. No monologue is required. Please bring your resume and headshot.
N AUDITIONS SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 10 at 3:00PM
Auditioners for Chill should prepare two short (30 sec-1 minute) contrasting contemporary monologues. Monologues should be no more than 2 minutes in total. Be prepared to do ensemble work with other auditioners. Think of it as jazz improv! Please bring your resume and headshot.
CHILL AUDITIONS SATURDAY OCTOBER 8 at 1PM
Both auditions will be held in the large conference room at Martha Cooper Library located at 1377 N Catalina Ave, Tucson.
