It's the holiday season, whoop-de-do and hickory dock, and don't forget to hang up your sock cause the comedy is coming down the chimney all weekend long! We are going to have some new additions at our concession stand this weekend, so the holiday treats will be in abundance. We also continue our run of Ugly Sweater show ho hos! All of the funniest comedy Saturday night at 9pm in the ugliest sweaters we can find. But let me be real here for a second, over the years I have been so impressed with the creativity of our casts, and most of these sweaters are funny and not that ugly. You be the judge, be in the audience, and if you wear an ugly sweater you get a dollar off a drink at the Ugly Sweater Show.

Get ready to be sleighed by the best pun jokes this side of the North Pole, because Saturday at 7:30pm we know you'll be s-mitten with our puns. We have five competitors entering our monthly pun battle, be-Clause they love to make you laugh, and want to be the champion. This Punball Wizards shows is orna-meant to be the best one yet, so don't miss it!

Don't miss out on our comedy classes starting in the New Year! The Improv 101 Class is almost sold out, so if you want a seat, I recommend you get it today! We have Improv, Stand Up, and SKETCH 101 Classes starting in January. We don't have Sketch up that often, so now is the time to seize the day on that class! Researchers found that doing just 20 minutes of improv can increase creativity, well-being and your ability to tolerate uncertainty, according to this NPR Article. So start 2023 happier with a comedy class!

I am excited to announce our plans for New Year's Eve! Tucson Improv Movement will present two shows on the 31st. At 7:30pm we will do a "Comedic Look Back on 2022" to send out the past year with a laugh, for just $7. Then at 9pm we present a "Comedic Look Forward to 2023" where we will take your thoughts and wishes for the upcoming year and turn them into a hilarious improv show. The 9pm show will include a champagne toast and cost $10, or come to both for $15! Ring in the new year with laughter, tickets on sale soon!
