The Invisible Theatre concludes its landmark and acclaimed 51st Season with the evocative SMALL MOUTH SOUNDS by Obie Award-winning playwright Bess Wohl, April 19 - 30, 2023. In this compassionate and witty play, six wildly dissimilar runaways from city life embark on a week-long silent retreat, in the overwhelming quiet of the woods.
These strangers attempt to abandon technology, observe a vow of silence, and tamp down their natural cravings while being guided by an unseen guru who challenges them to confront internal demons and seek peace.
