After 30 years of creating outstanding theatre and theatre education for Tucson, we thought we'd pull out all the stops and bring you a huge season full of shows you will love and some new and adventurous theatre. Forced to return to her home town of Mystic, Connecticut after a stint in rehab, Nell is determined to get her life back on track. Her plan includes being promoted to the most high profile job in town: a tour guide aboard a historic whaling ship, and tracking down her former classmate who tried and failed to grow the longest fingernails in the world. With the help and hindrance of her older sister, Nell grabs at her chance for hometown glory-– but repairing her relationship with her mother and breaking free of her worst instincts lands her in increasingly ridiculous circumstances. Ship is a witty and hilarious exploration of a person's potential and the awkward experiences we have trying to get our sea legs as functional adults.
