Subject: Film Acting Camp for Teens

Acting instructor and director Steve Anderson offers a film acting camp for teens, ages 14-18, at The Temple of Music & Art June 8, 9, 10, 11, with a special screening of student work for family & friends.

Participants will spend four full-time days in the camp, where they will receive advanced actor training that focuses on relaxation, kinesthetic awareness, creativity, impulsiveness, focus, and fun!  Participants will also write short scenes through improvisation, which will be shot like a film on days three and four.  Once shooting is complete, Anderson and the participants will part ways for a couple of weeks while scenes are edited for the special screening.  Not only will the acting instruction be strong, but the film production will be top-notch, with the help of Derek Griffith of Director's Seat Productions.

Guest speakers include Harris Kendall, who played a recurring role on "Days of our Lives" for 10 years, and Brian Mulligan, past-president of the Independent Film Association of Southern Arizona.
