Escape Reality Productions, together with Tucson Music Theatre, is proud to present its inaugural show, "Hats: The Musical," book by Marcia Milgrom Dodge and Anthony Dodge, songs by Doug Besterman, Susan Blackhead, Michele Brourman, Pat Bunch, Gretchen Cryer, Anthony Dodge, Marcia Milgrom Dodge, Beth Falcone, David Friedman, Kathie Lee Gifford, David Goldsmith, Carol Hall, Henry Krieger, Stephen Lawrence, Melissa Manchester, Amanda McBroom, Pam Tillis & Sharon Vaughn.
"Hats! The Musical," under the direction of Dea Young-Smith and Lindsey McHugh, is a hilarious 90-minute show based on the stories, experiences, and mission of the Red Hat Society. Maryanne, a 49.999-year-old woman, reluctantly faces the inevitable Big Five-O, until she meets several remarkable women who show her how to celebrate this stage of her life. The partially doubled cast features Anna Schoff, Ami Cannon, Colleen Zandbergen, Melinda Nay, Maxine Gillespie, Cathy Beale, Wynelle Waters, Veronica Esquibel, and Anna Anderson
All performances will be held at the Hungry Fox Restaurant, located at 4637 East Broadway Blvd.(northwest corner of Broadway and Swan) in Tucson. Join us on January 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, and 29, and February 4 and 5 at 3 PM for High Tea, and January 28 and February 4 at 7 PM for coffee and dessert.
Opening weekend (Saturday Jan 14th, and Sunday, Jan 15th) all seats discounted $5! All other dates: General admission is $20, VIP admission is $25 which includes a $5 donation to Tucson Music Theatre. Group rates are available. Seating is limited. For reservations, 520-909-4913.
