AUDITIONS

ARIZONA ROSE THEATRE

UPCOMING PRODUCTIONS

The Arizona Rose Theatre will be holding auditions

on Thursday, December 7th from 6pm to 7pm for our upcoming productions of

"Lost In Yonkers" and "Tombstone the musical IN CONCERT"

Auditions will be held at the Arizona Rose Theatre in the Tucson Mall

(Lower Level by Macy's and across from the Container Store)

This is an open call... Please come with a prepared monologue.  If you are

auditioning for Tombstone then please have a song prepared.  We ask that you only prepare 32 bars.  Musical auditions will be acapella, you may bring an accompaniment track on a phone, ipod or CD.

We are looking to cast the following roles:

LOST IN YONKERS

Rehearsals begin mid January

Production runs February 24th through March 4th

Eddie

A middle-aged father. After the death of his wife, he is forced to send his two sons to live with their grandmother, while he repays his large financial debts. He is shown to be, much like his sisters, a nervous wreck around his mother

Aunt Gert

She is a very interesting addition to the family. Her most noticeable issue is that when she breathes she has a tendency to suck in while still speaking, as a result of trauma instilled in her by her mother from a young age.

TOMBSTONE the musical IN CONCERT

Rehearsals begin early January

Production runs January 27th & 28th

JED

Looking for a strong gospel singer (vocal range could vary)… Jed is an African American Farrier and Blacksmith that worked in Tombstone in the 1880s during the time of Wyatt Earp and the gunfight at the OK Corral.
