After 10 years of serving as Tucson's professional contemporary dance company, the artistic and administrative staff in collaboration with the Board of Directors has made the decision to dissolve Artifact Dance Project. Founding Artistic Directors Ashley Bowman and Claire Hancock are fulfilled by their time as creative partners and, with thoughtfulness, are bringing Artifact Dance Project to closure after completion of the 2018/2019 season. We are incredibly grateful to our patrons, audience members, volunteers, and collaborators for over a decade of support. Artifact established a reputation for bringing people together to produce innovative works with dance at the center. You, our patrons and audience members, have made this possible. Without our community's support, arts organizations such as Artifact would not exist. On behalf of all of us at Artifact Dance Project, we thank you for 10 incredible years.
