The Rogue Theatre

AUDITION ANNOUCEMENT

 

We are sorry that due to the nature of the COVID-19 virus, we are not holding in-person auditions for The Rogue Theatre's 2020-21 season of plays.

If you would like to be considered for any of the plays of The Rogue season (please see list below of available roles), please email us your résumé and a photo along with a short video of you performing a classical monologue by MAY 1, 2020. A classical monologue might be by Shakespeare or some other language-driven piece that shows your facility with complex language. Please send your materials to Megan Coy at StageManager@TheRogueTheatre.org.

If you have worked with The Rogue previously and would like to be considered for any of the plays of the season, please let us know by MAY 1, 2020. We will consider you for any of the roles you indicate and will let you know by May 10th if we need anything else from you.

A View from the Bridge - September 10-27, 2020, rehearsals begin July 28

            Louis - male, 20-30

            Mike - male, 20-30

            Tony/Second Officer - male 30-40

            First Officer/Neighbor - male 30-40

            Mr. Lipari - male 50-60

            Mrs. Lipari - female 50-60

            Second Submarine/Neighbor - male 20-30

The Oresteia - January 7-24, 2021, rehearsals begin November 24

            Iphigenia – female, 8-12

            Cassandra - female, 25-45

            Chorus B – female any age or older male, Cool, pious, otherworldly

            Chorus D – female any age or older male, Fierce, frightening, decisive

            Chorus F – female, 45 -70.  Older, ironic, cool.  Formerly the nurse of Orestes

            Chorus H – female any age or older male, Unpredictable, ancient soul, powerful

As You Like It - April 22-May 9, 2021, rehearsals begin March 16

            Audrey – female, 18-35          

            Sir Oliver Martext – male, 40-70

            Adam – male, 60-70

            Oliver – male, 25-40
