Welcome to our 2021-22 Season
We're excited to return to live performances!
Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Fashion Design, and Digital Arts departments are thrilled to get back to performing and showcasing artwork to live audiences. From faculty music recitals to October-inspired showcases, our faculty and students are prepared to entertain. Pima Arts presents a diverse selection this season that is sure to delight! Tickets go on sale September 14.

CFA - Proscenium Theatre
Music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman. Making his Pima Theatre directorial debut, Arts Division Dean Steven James Higginbotham will bring this show to life through the lens of a 1960s comic book. "Little Shop of Horrors" is a horror comedy rock musical about a humble florist who uses a man-eating plant to get rid of his enemies and raise his status. It's a fun, thrilling tale that will keep you and your family on your toes while laughing and singing at the same time.

Written and performed by Pima Community College Students. Directed by Chris Will. Everyone knows about the elves that make toys, but what if we told you there were more than just toy-making elves in the North Pole? Elf Elegies explores the world of the elf's life like you have never seen it before - through the eyes of the essential elf. It's fun for all ages and should put you in the holiday spirit!

CFA - Black Box Theatre
Directed by Chanel Bragg, Associate Artistic Director of Arizona Theatre Company. The play is based in 1936 but feels like the topics are still very relevant for today. Boy Willie arrives in Pittsburgh from the South in a battered truck loaded with watermelons to sell. He has an opportunity to buy some land down-home, but he has to come up with the money right quick. He wants to sell an old piano that has been in his family for generations, but he shares ownership with his sister, and it sits in her living room. Boy Willie tries to persuade his stubborn sister that the past is past, but she is more formidable than he anticipated.

There's always time to remember this romantic fable about a boy, a girl, their two fathers, and a love that grows with each season.
