In collaboration with Pima Community College, Live Theatre Workshop seeks to blend new voices with old stories. Diverse casting and exciting new takes on classical pieces help us bring a depth and a light to canon. We can claim our own stories. We can shine new light. All the while, pairing individuals who are new to acting and theatre, with talented and mentoring actors in an effort to teach, guide and learn together. We all win. The stories. The cast. The community. In this staged reading of Anton Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard, a Russian aristocratic family struggles to come to terms with the loss of their ancestral estate and the inevitable changes of a shifting society, symbolized by the impending auction of their cherished cherry orchard. The play delves into themes of social class, generational divides, and the often painful passage of time.
This staged reading of THE CHERRY ORCHARD is directed by Gretchen Wirges and stars Kat McIntosh, Dennis O'Dell, Owen Saunders, Desi Neely, and more. The show runs on Saturday, May 25th at 7:30pm and Sunday, May 26th at 2pm. Purchase $15 tickets are available now.

Whether it's Ricky beating the conga in "Babalu" or Lucy stumbling and mumbling her way through "Vitameatavegamin", there's something for everyone to enjoy! Daniel "Sly" Slipetsky dazzles on the piano and Rylande Dodge sets the tempo for this wild episode! Plus, show off your knowledge with "I Love Lucy" trivia, fun for the whole family! From first timers to epic fans, "Lucy and Ricky LIVE!" will bring a smile to your face and leave a song in your heart.

All of our camps are an amazing and intense week of producing, acting, dancing, playing improvisation games, and exploring the technical side of the theatre arts. This is one of the best educational theatre experiences available! Camps are arranged by age and grade level and all skill levels are welcome! All of our instructors are trained to teach in a way that makes the entire experience fun and educational in a safe and low-pressure environment. While students will be very busy learning lines, acting, dancing, building sets, and producing their play; there is plenty of time for ensemble building and peer connection.
