STRESS INCONTINENCE by Richard Chaney (short)- An elderly Lesbian couple in
an assisted living residence try to keep their relationship a secret.
DADDY by Chuck Cummings (Theodore Ward Prize for African-American
Playwrights Winner) (full-length)- A Gay father and his single, pregnant
daughter seek common ground on issues of paternity. A collision of
polarities concerning race, sexual orientation and the politics of
medecine.
Friday, October 20, 7:00p.m. & Sunday, October 22nd, 2:00 p.m.:
BACK IN by Jason Montgomery (short)- A Gay man reacts radically to
mainstream hype and propagandizing of the Gay Rights Movement.
TRANSITIONAL OBJECTS by Eugenia Woods (full length)- A multi-generational
story of a family dealing with the shifting dynamics of sexual and religious
orientation, partnership, marriage and parenthood.
Panel discussions with community leaders will follow performances.
All performances to be held at Zuzi's Theater in the Historic Y, 738 N. 5th
Avenue.
