The legendary performance art troupe La Pocha Nostra http://pochanostra.com is holding their annual Performance Art Intensive in Tucson from January 5th-17th. Performance artists from all over the world will be attending, and we are trying to find local artists and supporters of the arts to offer home stays to these traveling artists to offset the costs of traveling, and the workshop. Some artists are coming from as far as South America, and Europe. All of the artists in the program are highly regarded in their field, have a keen sense of the interplay between art and social justice, and create brilliant work.

If you have the ability to open up your home to an artist, please contact Natalie at revoluution@gmail.com or 773-507-4776.

The workshop will be located at the Historic Y near downtown, and housing within biking distance is best, but all offers are much appreciated. Participants will be on site at the workshop from at least 1pm-8pm every day, with the possibility of some late nights.

Hosting for one week rather than 2 is appreciated also.

Your information will be completely confidential, and we will send you a short biography and information about a prospective participant for your approval before officially matching you. Please contact me with any questions, or for more information.

A final performance will occur on Jan. 17th and all hosts will receive comp tickets.

A few questions about your space follow.

Name, address, and best way to contact you:
What kind of sleeping arrangements do you have to offer? (guest bedroom, futon in the living room, tent in the backyard)
Is your space wheelchair accessible?
Do you have pets, kids, or smoke inside?
Are you
queer friendly?
up late or rise early?
substance free or substance friendly?
How many people are you open to housing?
Is there anything else you want to tell us about you or your space?

Thank you for your consideration.

Regards,
Natalie and La Pocha Nostra
