A young woman reporter seeking advancement is held back by the sexist managers at her newspaper. But she is willing to do whatever it takes to get to write the stories that she thinks she deserves to cover. In the end not everyone goes home safe. "Byline" is a film noir set in the 1950's and shot with broadcast quality equipment. Cars with wide fenders, men with hats, women in seamed stockings and red lipstick. And like the films of Bogart and Bergman, everything was shot in black and white.

Byline was produced by Pima Community College's Advanced Cinematography Class last semester and is currently in post production. We are seeking a composer to create a sound track for this classic drama. Estimated run time for the film is 20 minutes.

If you would like to be considered for the position, please send an e-mail with resume and explain the best way to listen to and review your previous representative work.

The composer will not receive monetary compensation, but will receive title credit and a copy of the completed DVD.

·         Location: Pima Community College

·         it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests

·         Compensation: no pay
