Tucson, Arizona--Pima Community College Music is pleased to present the PCC Jazz Ensemble in concert, under the direction of Mike Kuhn. The concert features a variety of tunes arranged for big band and several solo performances.
Program selections include “Killer Joe” by Benny Golson, “Night Train” by Jimmy Forrest, “Afro Blue” by Mongo Santamaria, “La Fiesta” by Chick Corea, and “Bye Bye To All Birds” by Louie Bellson. Several arrangements by the band's lead trombonist, Roger Wallace, are also featured.

In addition to instructing jazz ensemble and improvisation classes at PCC, Kuhn plays the jazz saxophone with a variety of venues around the greater Tucson area.
 
The Jazz Ensemble Concert is open to the public. Tickets are available at the Center for the Arts box office, located on West Campus at 2202 West Anklam Road, Tucson, (just west of downtown and I-10 on St. Mary’s Road, which turns into Anklam Road).
