Begins TUESDAY, JUNE 12th!
DATES: Tuesdays, June 12, 19, 26, July 3, 10, 17, 24 at Rhythm Industry Performance Factory, 1013 S.Tyndall Ave (map)
MUST ATTEND six (6) of the rehearsals in order to perform at Monsoon Mania.
COST: $60/$40 student with ID - includes Batucaxe t-shirt in time for performance
For the last three years, Batucaxe has held an annual fundraiser for our programs and members attending California Brazil Camp. This year we would LOVE to have you not only come to the PARTY, but consider JOINING US FOR THE SUMMER!
If you have found yourself curious what it might be like to bang on a drum or shake one of those shakers, or you have found yourself joining the dancer's moves at one of our events (or BOTH)... NOW is a great time to find out what it is ALL ABOUT!
The best part...NO EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED! Come as you are and we will show you what you need to know!

Batucaxé (pronounced bah-too-cah-SHEH, which means "the blessing of the beat"), the winner of the 2010 and 2009 Tucson Weekly TAMMIES Award in the World Music Category, is a non-profit drum and dance ensemble and school in Tucson, Arizona.
