GOLDEN AGE OF RADIO PREMIERES AT THE COMEDY PLAYHOUSE

 Live Old Time Radio Shows Featured on Sunday, July 8th and Subsequently 2nd Sunday of Each Month

Golden Age of Radio Theater (GART) is premiering live old time radio performances at The Comedy Playhouse on Sunday, July 8th at 12:30p according to GART director Butch Lynn.  Golden Age of Radio Theater plans to perform shows monthly on the second Sunday of each month at 12:30p.  Shows for July 8th include 'Vic and Sade: The Washing Machine is on the Blink' and 'Lux Radio Theater's Christmas in July.'

Vic and Sade: "The Washing Machine Is on the Blink." 

This episode features the beloved Vic, Sade and their son, Rush, as they fix the washer using some weird do-it-yourself tactics.  (First broadcast in 1934.)  Starring Christopher Lidberg, Tony Eckstat, Bruce Bieszki and Joan O'Dwyer.  Sound effects—Sean O'Connell

Lux Radio Theatre: "Christmas in July"

A seemingly innocent office prank threatens to ruin a man's life, until fate proves a fickle mistress and comes running to his defense.  (First broadcast in 1944.)  Starring Drew Kallen, Bruce Bieszki, Christopher Lidberg, Denise Blum, Joan O'Dwyer, Tony Eckstat and Butch Lynn.  Sound effects—Sean O'Connell
