Philip G. Bennett - Artistic Director, is a graduate of the American Stanislavski Theatre in New York City, and in addition to being a founding member of the professional repertory company, AST, he served as instructor and Assistant Artistic to Sonia Moore, (The Stanislavski System and Stanislavsky Revealed) émigré actress and director from the Moscow Art Theatre’s Third Studio.  In 1976 Mr. Bennett founded the San Francisco Theatre Academy, and in 1984 The Bennett TheatreLab. Phil is a recipient of the Hollywood Dramalogue Award for Best Direction, and debut of a New Company. He is currently writing a textbook on actor training to be published in early 2013 by Rutledge Academic Publishers, London.
