Subject: Auditions for Oro Valley Theatre Company 2019-20 Season

 

The Oro Valley Theatre Company announces AUDITIONS for it's 2019-2020 season.  All roles are open.

Some Enchanted Evening - The Songs of Rogers and Hammerstein, is a Marvelous Musical Revue featuring memorable songs we love to hear and hum, from Oklahoma, South Pacific, Carousel, The Sound of Music, The King and I, etc. etc. etc.  Performances are November 13 and November 21, 2019, in the new, covered pavilion at Oro Valley's Tohono Chul. Directed by Judi Rodman, Musical Direction by Rob Boone.
Auditions: August 14 and 15, 6-9 pm, Sunset Room at the Oro Valley Community Center, 10555 N. La Canada Dr., Oro Valley.
Please prepare to sing a song from one of these shows: Oklahoma, Sound of Music, The Kind and I or South Pacific. No appointments necessary.  The Musical Director, Rob Boone will accompany all singers. 

The brilliant murder mystery, Witness for the Prosecution by Agatha Christie
Performances are February 19, 26 and 27, 2020, at the The Gaslight Music Hall, 13005 N Oracle Rd. Directed by Judi Rodman.

The hilarious Barefoot in the Park by Pulitzer Prize Winning Playwright, Neil Simon.
Performances are April 22, 23, 29, 30, 2020, at the The Gaslight Music Hall, 13005 N. Oracle Rd. Directed by Judi Rodman.
Auditions for both shows will be August 10, 3-6 pm and August 12, 6-9 pm, Sunset Room at the Oro Valley Community Center, 10555 N. La Canada Dr., Oro Valley.  Please prepare to read from the script of the show(s) you are interested in, or if you prefer, prepare a two minute monologue.  Scripts will be available at the audition.  No appointments necessary.

Stipends will be paid for all shows.
