Audition Announcement
The Community Players,
Open auditions
Ellen Craft, Running A Thousand Miles for Freedom
Written by E. Reid Gilbert
The play centers around the real-life journey to freedom of
Ellen and William Craft, from a plantation
in Georgia to Philadelphia and beyond.
Based on writings chronicling their brave journey to freedom.
We are seeking men and women, ages 18 +,
African American and white to fill numerous roles.
Contact Edward Young at 520-345-7578 to receive
sides prior to auditions.
Auditions are being held
Wednesday, July 31st,
from 6-8 pm
at Homer Davis Elementary School,
4250 N. Romero Rd. (parking on the South Driveway near rear of school by the fence.)
Callbacks will be held on Sunday, August 4th pending a call from the director.
