Subject: help with pre-show for shakesqueer!
Call for volunteers, one-off support of our upcoming Shakesqueer Theater production of Romeo and Juliet!
Hi friends! shakesqueer's romeo & juliet will soon be upon us!!
and we're looking for folks to fill one-off support roles for the play! i'm emailing to hopefully catch any folks that had too full of a plate this year to be all-in for the show but might still want to be involved in some way!
these roles include:
- usher/busker (this can either be someone who wants to be in costume and make a festive pre-show atmosphere with juggling/music/good natured cajoling, or if you wanna be chill and just give ppl programs and help ppl figure out where to sit, that's cool too)
- staff the merch table
- set up & take down of the set (before & after every tech rehearsal & performance)
the show dates will be tucson 21 & 22 (evening), ajo the 28th and arivaca the 29th. we'll also have a parade on the 20th down 4th ave where extra flyerers are welcome! and rehearsals will be going on most of the days.
does any of this interest you? we're trying to get folks new to shakesqueer and other non-cast members to take this on, so would be most grateful if you could sign up!
do that by just letting me know what you're interested in, and i'll tell you the deets :).
